My name is Sarah and I love to read, write, read some more, occasionally cook, play with my dog, and hang out with my husband. At the same time, I love thinking, writing, preaching, and teaching about faith.
I think faith is one of the great mysteries that continually surprises us and escapes even our wildest imaginings. I am a doctoral student studying the formal histories, doctrines, spiritualities, and theologies of the Christian church, but I think it is stories that come closest to capturing what the life of faith is all about. To that end, I love preaching … telling the stories of our faith … cracking open the old, old stories of the Bible so we too can find our place in the ancient plot-lines. And I love hearing the stories of others – everyday stories that reveal the presence of the holy in our midst.
